Faro airport is the main airport for the Algarve and can be found on the southern coast of Portugal. It is located about 7 km to the west of Faro itself.
The Faro airport handles a large number of passengers from all over Europe, especially the UK, Germany, Holland and Italy. Most of the low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair, Jet2.com and Flybe all offer direct flights to Faro throughout the year.
